Vlad was involved in various corporate and commercial related matters, which included advising shareholders through general shareholders meetings, guiding foreign entities in the establishment of local subsidiaries, counseling significant commercial entities in their daily activity. His skills also include the drafting and negotiation of a wide variety of commercial agreements (e.g. all types of sale-purchase agreements, lease and sub-lease agreements, services and distribution agreements, etc.).

He acquired extensive and thorough expertise in advising employers upon a great variety of employment matters, of both contentious and non-contentious nature. Furthermore, he provided legal assistance through employment agreement negotiations, drafted internal regulations and represented the clients in termination procedures as well as in a wide range of employment related disputes.

Vlad has acted as local counsel for creditors in specific insolvency procedures, which included assistance to creditors’ meetings, as well as in a variety of inter-creditor disputes and claims against syndic judge’s decisions.

He acted in a variety of complex disputes, involving employment contracts termination, landlord-tenant disputes, real estate recovery claims, shareholders disputes, as well as in fiscal enforcement disputes. His competencies cover Romanian courts and other arbitral institutions.

Vlad Tomosoiu is a member in good standing of the Bucharest Bar Association. He is also an authorized insolvency practitioner.

He graduated Magna cum laudae from the University of Bucharest – Law School (2001) and he successfully continued his studies within the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies – Finance, Banks, Insurance and Stock Exchange Faculty.
